Goodbye California Plates

This was a sad day…

We said goodbye to our California license plates, and are "officially" Arizonans. 

On the bright side…now we probably won't get pulled over as easily!

Weeks 22-40

I guess since little Link is here now, I should finally share about the last half of the pregnancy. Let's just say, that I'm so glad it's over.

Third Time's the Charm

The cat's finally out of the bag, and we couldn't be more excited!

September 25

The test came back positive and I couldn't wait for David to get home so I could tell him. 

October 9th (6 weeks)

Right on schedule, I started puking my guts out. 

It was awful.

October 23 (8 weeks)

Our first doctor's appointment.

Heard the heartbeat for the first time.

Music to our ears!

12 weeks

I started showing a lot sooner than most people…

which makes me afraid to turn into a barn by the time I'm in my 3rd trimester.

14 weeks

December 13 (15 weeks)

Nausea has slightly subsided…

which really just means I only throw up a few times a week instead of once a day.

December 20 (16 weeks)

Yep! It's a Boy!

Felt the first little kicks

David felt his little kicks for the first time!

We couldn't be more excited for our little guy to get here. 

David's Birthday

Because David had been off school for 3 weeks, and I worked all day, it was really hard for me to come up with a present without him knowing. 

I searched pintrest high and low for some diy birthday presents. I decided on this one!

It took me forever to write out each one, but it turned out really nice 

and I think he liked it.

First Day

Today was David's first day of Podiatry School. 

He was so excited that he dressed up in a long sleeve shirt and pants even though it was 100 degrees outside. 

Pine, AZ

 Since we decided to moved to Arizona in the middle of July, we thought we would try to escape the 115 degree weather for the weekend, by heading up north to Pine with the Needs and Hatch families.

Not only was it 30 degrees cooler, but it was so nice to get away from the city and the awfulness of unpacking our apartment.

Last Day of School

Last day of BYU-Idaho

Even though David has 4 more years of school and 3 years of residency, it was my last day of school...

forever.
